Brasília, DF, 15 (AFI) – Apesar de não erguer a taça de campeão, ao ser derrotado na final por 1 a 0, para o Gama, no último sábado(12), no Estádio Mané Garrincha, na decisão do Campeonato Sub 20, mesmo assim, o Capital Futebol Clube tem motivos para comemorar a bela campanha, até porque pontuou mais que o seu adversário durante toda a competição sendo derrotado na final jogando um futebol de igual para igual.
NA COPA SÃO PAULO DE FUTEBOL JÚNIOR
A excelente campanha no torneio deu o direito ao time Coruja juntamente com o Gama, representar o Distrito Federal na Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, de 2024, edição de número 54, com início no dia 2 de janeiro e término no dia 25, quando comemora-se o aniversário da cidade de São Paulo. Na campanha do Capital, o time disputou 13 jogos, com oito vitórias, três empates e duas derrotas. O ataque marcou vinte e três gols e a defesa sofreu nove tentos.
DESTAQUE
Além da ótima campanha, o Capital conseguiu destacar alguns atletas na competição. Entres eles, está o futebol do meia que também atua como segundo volante. Trata-se de Samuel Nascimento da Silva, 19 anos. Samuel, fez um excelente campeonato e por conta disso vem chamando atenção de alguns clubes no cenário brasileiro. Bom no desarme, ótimo nos lançamentos e com grande conduta e personalidade em campo, o atleta falou da campanha e o seu futuro pela frente.

“Tivemos uma grande preparação antes do campeonato iniciar e quando chegou estávamos prontos, treinando sempre em alta intensidade, com um grupo muito bom, nossa equipe foi muito consistente no campeonato. Infelizmente, não ficamos com o título, mas agora é hora de trabalhar e focar em corrigir os erros para que não aconteça na Copinha. Sobre o meu futuro deixo pro meu empresário cuidar e ele sabe o que faz”, comentou, Samuel que jogou todos os jogos com um gol e quatro assistências. Na temporada passada, o atleta esteve no elenco do Botafogo, de Ribeirão Preto na disputa da Copa Paulista.
