Recife, PE, 21 (AFI) – O Santa Cruz não terá calendário nacional em 2024 e 2023 será um ano marcante, apesar de negativo. Além de problemas dentro de campo, com eliminações precoces nas competições disputadas, o Mais Querido também teve problemas extracampo que culminaram na sequência de fracassos.

Um dos jogadores que deixou o clube após a desclassificação na Série D do Campeonato Brasileiro, o lateral-esquerdo Ítalo Silva, fez duras críticas a Felipe Conceição, um dos técnicos na competição. A principal reclamação do ex-atleta do Santa Cruz, numa entrevista à Rádio Clube de Pernambuco, ficou por conta do tratamento com o elenco, priorizando suas escolhas em vez dos demais.
“Ele (Felipe Conceição) não tratava todo mundo do grupo igual. Ranielle (que começou a temporada) tratava todo mundo igual, do moleque que subia da base a um cara que era o capitão do clube. Para mim, isso aí é treinador de verdade. Tanto que ele conquistou o elenco, botou vários moleques da base para jogar e vários estão cheios de mercado por causa do Ranielle. O Felipe é aquele estilo de treinador que conversa muito e em campo não se vê ação. Quando apresentaram Felipe no Santa Cruz, a torcida do Náutico comentou em várias redes sociais: “é o fim do Santa Cruz”. Todo mundo já conhecia o cara”, afirmou Ítalo.
RESPONSABILIDADE
Desclassificado também no Pernambucano ainda cedo, o Santa Cruz precisou depender do Retrô para salvar o desastre, porém a Fênix também não conseguiu um ano positivo. Apesar disso, o ex-lateral tricolor citou que a queda no Estadual teria de gerar mudança no comando, contudo a chegada de Felipe gerou um impacto negativo e sem retorno.
“Felipe Conceição, para mim, foi o fim da nossa trajetória no ano. Porque, na troca de treinador, do Ranielle (Ribeiro) para Felipe (Conceição), a gente sentiu um impacto muito grande. Porque o Felipe chegou, tentou fazer a gente se classificar à semifinal e saímos nas quartas. Quando ele chegou, o time já estava praticamente classificado e ele já não obteve êxito no Pernambucano, acho que ali já era pra ter tirado o Felipe e não ter deixado ele dar sequência. Mas enfim, ele continuou”, completou.
