Campinas, SP, 5 (AFI) – O futebol dá voltas e quem quiser se tornar um ‘vitorioso’ é só aproveitar os momentos de glória para ganhar espaço e brilhar por muito tempo. É o que acontece, neste momento, com John Kennedy, atacante do Fluminense e que se tornou peça-chave na vitória, de virada, por 2 a 1, sobre o Internacional, nesta quarta-feira à noite, no Beira-Rio, pela semifinal da Copa Libertadores. Valeu vaga na final.

Kennedy marcou um gol e participou de outro, ganhando depois muitos elogios do técnico Fernando Diniz. O curioso que alguns meses atrás, John Kennedy deixou Araraquara como um ‘fracassado’ ao ser rebaixado com a Ferroviária dentro do Paulistão. Para alguns, era seu fim.

Mas foi a Ferroviária quem lhe abriu as portas, quando era um jogador indesejado. No interior paulista marcou seis gols, virou artilheiro do time, mas naufragou à Série A2 junto com seus companheiros. Na sua despedida já mostrou uma mudança de postura, agradecendo ao clube por lhe ter dado uma chance de jogar:

“Lamento o rebaixamento do clube, mas estou feliz de ter tido a chance de voltar à vitrine do futebol brasileiro”.

De volta ao Fluminense ele deu sorte de encontrar Fernando Diniz, um técnico que acima de tudo acredita nas pessoas. Com muito trabalho, o garoto de 21 anos, nesta temporada já anotou 14 gols. Foram 6 no Paulistão, 1 na Copa do Brasil, 4 no Brasileirão e 3 na Libertadores.
