Com dedo do treinador, Marcílio Dias conquista classificação histórica

Campinas, SP, 13 (AFI) – O Marcílio Dias, do técnico Waguinho Dias, está na final da Copa Santa Catarina após reverter a vantagem de 2 a 0 do Hercílio Luz e vencer nas penalidades máximas, em um jogo que muitos não acreditavam na classificação do Marinheiro.

Após perder em casa por 2 a 0 no jogo de ida da semifinal da Copa Santa Catarina, o Marcílio Dias fez o que muitos não acreditavam e no primeiro tempo foi pra cima do Hercílio Luz ao criar oportunidades, até que aos 22 minutos, o volante Araújo abriu o marcador. Mas o time do técnico Waguinho Dias tinha que fazer mais dois gols para se classificar no tempo normal.

Após levar o gol, o Hercílio Luz tentou pressionar o Marinheiro que fez um grande jogo. Até que aos 33 minutos, o técnico Waguinho Dias colocou em campo o lateral Felipe Santos que participou do gol do atacante Gustavo Poffo no segundo do Marcílio Dias aos 35. O resultado levou a disputa para os pênaltis, quando o goleiro Victor Golas brilhou ao defender três cobranças e colocar o time da cidade de Itajái na final da Copa Santa Catarina.

Para chegar à final, o time do técnico Waguinho Dias enfrentou o Marcilio Luz que teve a melhor campanha na primeira fase com seis vitórias, dois empates e apenas uma derrota, além de segurar uma sequência de quatro vitórias consecutivas e uma invencibilidade de mais de 700 dias jogando em casa.

“Enfrentamos um time que vinha de uma boa sequencia na competição e sabíamos que seria um jogo muito difícil, mas que estávamos preparados para buscar essa classificação. Fizemos um grande jogo, os jogadores estão de parabéns pela entrega, dedicação, com imposição física, técnica, jogando ofensivamente vertical e procurando o gol. Fomos eficientes nas oportunidades que tivemos no jogo e fomos premiados nas penalidades pelo grande jogo que eles fizeram”, disse o técnico Waguinho Dias.

Com a classificação garantida, o Marinheiro aguarda o adversário na grande final da Copa Santa Catarina entre Concórdia e Avaí, que decidem nesta quarta-feira (15), na cidade de Concórdia.
