Flamengo vence Botafogo e fatura título da 1ª edição do torneio

São Paulo, SP, 17 (AFI) – O Flamengo é o grande campeão da 1ª edição da Copa São Paulo Feminina – Copinha Feminina de 2023. Na manhã deste domingo (17), em duelo disputado no estádio do Canindé, em São Paulo, o time rubro-negro venceu o arquirrival Botafogo, pelo placar de 2 a 0, em um duelo bem aberto e fatorou mais um troféu, esse inédito.

Para se sagrarem campeãs, as meninas do Flamengo fecharam a primeira fase na liderança do Grupo A com duas vitórias e um empate em três rodadas. Já nas semifinais passaram pelo São Paulo, em um duelo que terminou empatado no tempo regulamentar e as cariocas venceram nos pênaltis.

Já o Botafogo, que ficou com o vice-campeonato, teve uma campanha ainda melhor. Na primeira fase, venceu os três jogos e acabou na liderança do Grupo D, com nove pontos. Nas semifinais, eliminaram o Internacional, também nos pênaltis.

DETALHES DO DUELO

O primeiro tempo foi bastante movimentado, tanto que o Botafogo chegou a marcar dois gols, que foram bem anulados pelo VAR, por conta de impedimentos no lance. Por outro lado, aos 10 minutos, Kemilly acabou dando um pisão na adversária e foi expulsa, deixando o time alvinegro com uma jogadora à menos.

A partir daí, o Flamengo tentou aproveitar a vantagem numérica e chegou a cabecear uma bola na trave, mas não conseguiu tirar o zero do placar no primeiro tempo. Na volta do intervalo, tudo mudou. Aos 12 minutos da segunda etapa, depois de um escanteio cobrada na área, Giovana escorou e Mariana, em posição regular, se esticou inteira para escorar para o fundo da rede.

Depois disso, o Flamengo passou a controlar a vitória e chegou algumas vezes com perigo. A melhor delas saiu aos 47 minutos. Pimentinha apareceu livre na entrada da área e chutou na saída da goleira, mas a zagueira Letícia tirou praticamente em cima da linha.

Mas, minutos depois, a atacante conseguiu deixar a sua marca. Aos 49, depois de uma cobrança de falta, Pimenta apareceu na pequena área para, de peixinho, marcar o segundo gol e fechar a vitória por 2 a 0, dando o título inédito ao Flamengo.
