Diadema, SP, 17 (AFI) – O Água Santa segue anunciando seus reforços para o ano de 2024. Após confirmar a vinda do lateral Artur, o Netuno anunciou neste domingo a contratação do atacante Neilton, de 29 anos, para disputa do Campeonato Paulista. O clube paulista ainda tem a Copa do Brasil e a Série D do Campeonato Brasileiro em 2024.
Formado nas categorias de base do Santos, Neilton subiu ao profissional em 2013 sob enorme expectativa, principalmente, após brilhar na conquista do Peixe na Copinha daquele ano. Na primeira temporada no elenco principal do clube, disputou 19 partidas e anotou quatro tentos.
Apesar de ser Menino da Vila, Neilton cresceu em Diadema, e deu seus primeiros toques na bola na cidade do ABC Paulista.
Na última temporada, disputou o Paulistão pelo Guarani, mas não agradou e acabou se transferindo para o Criciúma, onde fez parte do elenco que conquistou o acesso para a Série A de 2024.
Além desses clubes, Neilton rodou o futebol brasileiro, vestindo as cores de: Vitória, Cruzeiro, Botafogo, São Paulo, Sport, Internacional, Coritiba e Hatta Club, dos Emirados Árabes Unidos.
