Itabaiana-SE 3 x 4 Maranhão-MA – MAC entra no G-4 e afunda o rival na Copa NE

Lagarto, SE, 21 (AFI) – O Maranhão entrou ao G-4 do Grupo A da Copa do Nordeste ao vencer o Itabaiana por 4 a 3, nesta quinta-feira, no estádio Barretão, pela sexta rodada. Além de ficar dentro da zona de classificação, deixou o Tremendão na lanterna do Grupo B, praticamente eliminado.

Com a terceira vitória consecutiva, o Maranhão chegou ao 11 pontos, assim como o líder CRB e o Sport, segundo colocado. O River-PI é o quarto, com dez.

Pelo Grupo B, o Itabaiana é o lanterna, com três pontos. Em seis jogos, foram cinco derrotas e apenas uma vitória. Estão no G-4: Bahia (15), Fortaleza (8), Altos (7) e Náutico (6). 

MARANHÃO NA FRENTE!

O Itabaiana tentou se aproveitar do fator casa para sair na frente do placar e criou a primeira chance da partida. Aos três minutos, João Vitor arriscou e mandou na trave. O lance acordou o Maranhão, que respondeu aos dez. Vinícius Barata foi lançado em velocidade e tocou na saída do goleiro para fazer 1 a 0.

O Maranhão continuou pressionando e ampliou aos 15. André Radija cobrou falta com perfeição e fez 2 a 0. O Itabaiana ainda tentou responder no final, com Cleitinho. O atacante aproveitou a sobra e desperdiçou grande oportunidade de gol. 

GOLEADA!

No segundo tempo, o Itabaiana foi para cima e chegou a diminuir aos 12 minutos. João Vitor bateu colocado e mandou na trave. O Tremendão continuou pressionando e diminuiu aos 24. Bruno Sena finalizou mal e viu a bola sobrar para Wendel. O meia ajeitou e mandou no fundo das redes.

Mas não deu nem tempo para o Itabaiana comemorar. Aos 31, após cobrança de escanteio, Jefferson saiu mal do gol e viu Maicon cabecear para o fundo das redes. Aos 35, Rafael Teixeira fez o quarto.

Com a partida praticamente definida, o Itabaiana ainda deu um novo suspiro. Aos 38, João Vitor recebeu dentro da área e tocou entre as pernas do goleiro para fazer 4 a 2. Aos 53, Matheus Prado fez o terceiro, mas não conseguiu impedir a derrota do Tremendão.
