Belém, PA, 20 (AFI) – Depois de levar um susto ao sair atrás no placar, o Remo venceu por 2 a 1, de virada, o Amazonas, nesta quarta-feira à noite, pelas quartas de final da Copa Verde dentro do estádio Baenão, em Belém (PA). Com isso, o time paraense leva a vantagem do empate para o segundo jogo marcado para dia 23, no próximo sábado, na Arena da Amazônia, na cidade de Manaus.

Os três gols saíram no primeiro tempo. O jogo começou eletrizante, mesmo porque o time remista estava contagiado pela grande festa feia pela sua torcida nas arquibancadas, com direito a mosaico e tudo mais. Mas o visitante tentou estragar a festa, abrindo o placar, aos 13 minutos. Após cruzamento de Patrick, o atacante Diego Torres recebeu a bola, driblou um zagueiro e escolheu o canto para fazer 1 a 0.

O Remo correu atrás do prejuízo, meteu pressão e empatou aos 25. Jonílson desceu pela direita e virou o jogo dentro da área para Echaporã, que estava livre. Ele dominou e empurrou para as redes: 1 a 1. O goleiro Edson Mardden já vinha se destacando pelo lado amazonense, mas não conseguiu impedir o gol da virada, aos 41 minutos. O atacante Ribamar foi lançado em velocidade, entrou na área e coloco a bola do lado do goleiro: 2 a 1.

EXPULSÃO E PRESSÃO
A expectativa era de que o segundo tempo seria tranqüilo e que o remo poderia ampliar o placar facilmente. Só que logo aos quatro minutos o atacante Echaporã faz falta desnecessária e acaba recebendo o segundo cartão amarelo, sendo expulso, e deixando o time da casa com um jogador a menos.

A partir daí, o Remo teve que recuar e passou a sofrer pressão do Amazonas, que só não empatou porque o goleiro Marcelo Rangel fez várias boas defesas e garantiu o ‘bicho’ para seus companheiros.
