Corpo é encontrado próximo ao estádio do Tottenham antes de jogo do Campeonato Inglês

Campinas, SP, 07 – Um homem foi encontrado morto com múltiplos ferimentos provocados por arma branca neste domingo, nos arredores do Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, em Londres. O estádio recebeu horas depois a partida entre Tottenham e Nottingham Forest, vencida pelos anfitriões por 3 a 1, pela 31ª rodada do Campeonato Inglês.

A polícia foi chamada ao local no início da manhã (madrugada no Brasil), onde encontraram a vítima já sem vida, de acordo com o jornal britânico Daily Mail. Apesar dos esforços dos serviços de emergência para reanimá-lo, o homem foi declarado morto no local. Ninguém foi preso até o momento.

O Tottenham confirmou, em nota, que o jogo ocorreria conforme o planejado. “Após um incidente em que um indivíduo perdeu a vida, estamos fazendo tudo para ajudar a investigação policial em curso, que é de extrema importância”, disse o clube no início da tarde.

A direção do clube londrino estendeu suas condolências à família da vítima e a todos os afetados, pedindo paciência e compreensão aos torcedores, que podem demorar mais para chegar ao palco da partida. Algumas ruas que dão acesso ao estádio foram interditadas.
