Campinas, SP, 11 (AFI) – Passa semana, entra semana, e a ladainha na imprensa esportiva paulista e brasileira, é sempre a mesma e insiste na tecla: “Thiago Caprini, técnico do São Paulo, não fica mais vinte e quatro horas no cargo’. Nomes importantes da imprensa esportiva, além de parte dos torcedores são-paulinos, sonham muito com isso.
Mas parece que, quem manda de verdade (a diretoria do clube), não está disposta a precipitar nada e continua a garantir o treinador no comando do clube. O presidente do São Paulo, Julio Casares, por sinal, foi bem objetivo quando perguntado à respeito. Ele respondeu: “Carpini fica. Nada mudou. Tudo normal”.
Ainda assim, vejo nos noticiários esportivos, que, boa parte dos meus companheiros de imprensa não acreditam nisso. Querem porque querem, Caprini fora do São Paulo. Mas por que? Quais são os motivos? Seria porque o São Paulo foi desclassificado nas quartas-de-final do Paulistão diante do Novorizontino? Ou porque o time de Carpini perdeu o primeiro jogo pela Copa Libertadores da América?
SÃO PAULO JÁ PASSOU…
Lembro que em outros Paulistões o São Paulo também foi desclassificado e nada aconteceu. Por que então aconteceria isso agora com Carpini? Quanto à Libertadores, perder fora como o São Paulo perdeu, não é demérito nenhum, porque o time já no primeiro tempo ficou sem três de seus principais jogadores. Ou será que isso não pesou? Lógico que pesou. Se imaginam que não, façam uma experiência. Peçam ao Tite que saque quatro dos principais jogadores do Flamengo e vejam o que acontece.
Mas pior ainda é criticar quando o time vence. Foi o que aconteceu nesta quarta-feira. Neste jogo, disputado no Morumbi, o São Paulo venceu o Cobresal por 2 a 0 e atingiu seu objetivo. E mais. O São Paulo não jogou mal, como disseram. No primeiro tempo, por exemplo, o Cobresal só deu um chute a gol. No segundo, conseguiu chutar duas vezes com perigo, mas o goleiro tricolor, que é muito bom, não deixou a bola entrar.
Destaque-se, que o time de Carpini, jogou sem Lucas, Wellington Rato, Rafinha, Ferreirinha, Luiz Gustavo e Moreira. Mesmo assim, teve 71 por cento de posse de bola, fez dezesseis finalizações, oito das quais extremamente perigosas, e provou ser um time bem superior ao seu adversário. Ainda assim, Carpini foi exageradamente criticado e sua cabeça foi colocada à prêmio sem nenhum motivo aparente.
SÃO PAULO VENCEU…
O único problema no jogo de quarta, foi que, os dois gols, só saíram no final do jogo, o que deixou muita gente revoltada. Mas afinal, o importante não era vencer? E o São Paulo não venceu? Então por que tantas críticas radicais contra Carpini e por que tantos cronistas e torcedores, insistiram em pedir a cabeça do treinador logo após o jogo? Gostaria de saber, mas nesse momento não tenho resposta a dar.
Só um detalhe. Apesar de toda a pressão para a demissão de Thiago Carpini, eu continuo a apoiá-lo. E apoio também o presidente Júlio Casares e o Muricy Ramalho que o trouxeram para o clube e o seguram no cargo. Eles vão provar que estão certos. É só não botar mais lenha na fogueira e esperar o fogo abaixar. Aguardem.
