Campinas, SP, 21 – Rayssa Leal faturou o primeiro ouro do Brasil nos Jogos Pan-Americanos de Santiago no skate street feminino e se tornou a primeira campeã pan-americana da modalidade. Ela superou a também brasileira Pâmela Rosa, que ficou com a prata, e a americana Paige Hayn, terceira colocada.
A Fadinha terminou a disputa do street com 236.98, seguida por Pâmela, com 211,34 e por Paige Hayn, que terminou com nota 176,35. Rayssa liderou durante toda a prova e também teve a maior nota entre todas as manobras individuais: 84,23.
“Eu estou muito feliz. Com todas as conquistas que tivemos esse ano, pelo Brasil e com metas pessoais. Estou muito feliz com este ano, pude representar muito bem o Brasil. Eu e a Pâmela fizemos dobradinha, então é só gratidão”, disse Rayssa Leal em entrevista ao Canal Olímpico.
Com o feito no skate, o Brasil chegou à sua terceira medalha nesta edição dos Jogos Pan-Americanos. Além do ouro e da prata da Rayssa e Pâmela, há também um bronze conquistado por José Gabriel Marques, atleta de Mountain Bike que ficou em terceiro lugar no Cross Country Masculino neste sábado.
A DISPUTA
Rayssa foi a melhor na primeira volta. Ela teve nota de 76,03, contra 70,24 de Pâmela Rosa e 65,18 da americana Paige Hayn. Na segunda, Pâmela aumentou sua nota, chegando a 73,17 pontos, ainda atrás da melhor volta de Rayssa. Na sua segunda tentativa, a Fadinha tentou manobras mais difíceis, cometeu erros e ficou com 44,82 A americana ficou com 69,52 e não conseguiu alcançar as brasileiras na segunda volta.
Nas manobras, Pâmela errou as duas primeiras tentativas e chegou a ter suas chances de pódio ameaçadas. Mas conseguiu 60,73 em sua terceira manobra e 77,44 na quarta, voltando à segunda posição.
Rayssa foi ainda melhor. Conseguiu 76,72 na sua terceira tentativa e 84,23 na quarta, a maior nota recebida nesta disputa do street feminino.
