Urawa Red x Manchester City

Campinas, SP, 19 (AFI) – Depois de garantir sua vaga na final do Mundial de Clubes, o Fluminense vai acompanhar ‘de camarote’ a outra semifinal que será disputada nesta terça-feira, a partir das 15h (de Brasília). Apontado como grande favorito ao título, o Manchester City, da Inglaterra, vai enfrentar o Urawa Red Diamonds, do Japão. O jogo eliminatório vai ser disputado no estádio Rei Abdullah, em Jedá, na Arábia Saudita, mesmo palco em que o Tricolor Carioca venceu por 2 a 0 o Al Ahly, do Egito.

Este jogo vai ser acompanhado pelo Placar ao Vivo do portal Futebol Interior que, depois, vai apresentar detalhes de tudo que acontecer dentro e fora de campo. Em canal aberto somente a Rede Globo vai mostrar o confronto ao vivo, enquanto a CazéTV mostra imagens pelo Youtube, além das plataformas Globoplay e Fifa+.

OS FAVORITOS INGLESES
Após conquistar a Liga dos Campeões pela primeira vez, o City aparece como favorito embora não venha de bons resultados no Campeonato Inglês, onde venceu apenas uma vez nas últimas cinco rodadas. Mas o técnico Pep Guardiola aredita que tudo vai mudar no Mundial.
“É uma competição diferente, muito rápida com apenas dois jogos e que vale um retorno muito grande pra todos os jogadores e para o clube” – ressaltou Guardiola.

ESTRELAS SÃO DÚVIDAS
Para este primeiro jogo, existem algumas dúvidas e envolvem grandes estrelas do clube inglês. Uma delas é o meia belga De Bruyne, de 32 anos, que sofreu uma lesão na coxa em agosto e, depois disso, nunca mais se recuperou. Ele tentou voltar, mas sentiu a lesão e agora pode ser desfalque no Mundial. Mas ele treinou no primeiro treino em solo da árabe e demonstrou confiança em estar em campo, pelo menos em parte do jogo.

Quem segue longe do campo é o atacante Haaland, vetado para este primeiro jogo, mas esperança de estar em campo numa possível final diante do Fluminense. O artilheiro norueguês tenta superar uma lesão de estresse ósseo no pé direito e apelou até pra um tratamento mais heterodoxo com um especialista em biomecânica. É o espanhol John Haddad, famoso por tratar de esportistas, especialmente lutadores de MMA.

JAPONESES CONTRA TABU
De outro lado, apontado como mero participante, o japonês Urawa Red Diamonds vai tentar quebrar um tabu de que nunca um clube asiático chegou à final. Os japoneses farão o segundo jogo na competição, uma vez que na fase anterior passaram pelo Léon, do México, por 1 a 0, o que foi considerado uma surpresa para muitos especialistas.

O técnico polonês Maciej Skorza deve manter seu esquema preferido, o 4-2-3-1 com dois volantes – Atsuki Ito e Ken Iwao – protegendo bem o setor defensivo. Ito é considerado o melhor volante do Japão, mesmo porque além de ser ótimo marcador ele também é criativo com a bola nos pés.

Chegar à final significaria para o time japonês a recuperação na temporada, onde teve uma acentuada queda de produção no final do Campeonato Japonês – a J1-League – ficando em terceiro lugar, e antes foi eliminado nas oitavas de finais da Copa do Imperador.
