A estrela brasileira Neymar pode perder o resto da Copa do Mundo de 2022, já que sua lesão no tornozelo é pior do que se temia. Na semana passada, o médico do clube brasileiro Rodrigo Lasmar revelou que Neymar sofreu uma lesão no ligamento lateral do tornozelo direito, juntamente com um pequeno edema ósseo, e a estrela do Paris Saint-Germain agora perderá o último jogo da fase de grupos contra Camarões na sexta-feira.

O técnico Tite tem insistido que Neymar se recuperará a tempo de jogar novamente no Catar, ao lado do lateral-direito Danilo, que também se lesionou no tornozelo na vitória sobre a Sérvia.

“Acredito que Neymar e Danilo vão jogar na Copa do Mundo”, disse Tite aos repórteres. “Não estou em posição de falar sobre [informações médicas].

“Posso dizer que, não só sobre Neymar, mas também sobre Danilo, as situações de ambos evoluíram, mas acreditamos que ambos estarão disponíveis para jogar a Copa do Mundo.”

No entanto, de acordo com o The Mirror, há preocupações de que a lesão de Neymar seja pior do que se temia e que o atacante já tenha jogado sua última partida no Catar.

Neymar tem um péssimo histórico de lesões na Copa do Mundo, tendo perdido a semifinal de 2014 com um problema nas costas, enquanto não estava totalmente apto para representar a Seleção no torneio de 2018 devido a uma lesão no pé.

A estrela do PSG agora é uma grande dúvida para o confronto entre as oitavas de final do Brasil, mas o lendário atacante Rivaldo acredita que os pentacampeões mundiais podem se virar sem seu principal jogador.

“O time tem vários outros atacantes que, sem dúvida, terão um bom desempenho, mas Neymar é obviamente a primeira escolha”, disse Rivaldo a repórteres via The Sun.

“O grupo é um grupo forte e essas coisas acontecem no futebol, principalmente em uma competição de alto nível como a Copa do Mundo. Mas o time está preparado com grandes atacantes e Tite não terá problemas.

“Queremos Neymar 100%, mas se não acontecer logo, temos outros para substituí-lo, um time muito forte de 11 e um banco muito bom.”

O Brasil tentará manter seu recorde de 100% no Catar e garantir a liderança do Grupo G com uma vitória sobre Camarões na sexta-feira.

Por fim, o Brasil, apesar de um grande time, ressente a falta de jogadores mais experientes, mas Casemiro, Thiago Silva e Marquinhos podem assumir essa postura de ‘coach’ para os jogadores mais jovens como Vinicius Jr, Rodrigo, Bruno Guimarães e outros. Entretanto, por outro lado, a quantidade de lesões do Brasil já começa a preocupar e por isto, o time jogará com time reserva na tarde desta sexta.
