O Gil Vicente pode sair do playoff de rebaixamento da Primeira Liga quando viajar para o Boavista na noite de domingo.

Os Gilistas são 16.º na classificação do campeonato, a um ponto da segurança, enquanto os caseiros ocupam confortavelmente o meio da tabela, ocupando o 12.º lugar.

Ausente de longa data, Martim Tavares não joga pelo Boavista desde o final de outubro, pelo que se espera que Robert Bozenik seja o titular do Boavista, com Bruno Lourenço a jogar logo atrás.

O artilheiro Yusupha Njie só foi utilizado como jogador parcial nas últimas semanas, então é provável que o atacante seja substituído, embora tenha atuado como reserva nas duas últimas partidas, então Petit pode usá-lo como um jogador de impacto no final em.

Quanto ao Gil Vicente, também não tem problemas com novas lesões, mas continuará sem Lucas Barros, que não joga pelo clube desde que chegou no verão, devido a um problema de lesão.

Fran Navarro perdeu um pênalti em sua última partida, mas marcou impressionantes oito gols em 14 jogos do campeonato nesta temporada, então é um titular garantido para os Gilistas.

Frente ao Santa Clara, Sousa implementou um sistema 4-2-3-1 com grande sucesso, pelo que o treinador deverá continuar com este estilo de jogo, contando com Murilo e Kanya Fujimoto para criar oportunidades para o único avançado.
