Paulista A2: Juventus vacila e estreia com derrota na Rua Javari: “Não merecíamos esse resultado”

São Paulo, SP, 17 (AFI) – Estreando com atuação razoável na Rua Javari, o Juventus foi derrotado nesta quarta-feira (17), pela primeira rodada do Campeonato Paulista A2 diante do São Bento, por 1 a 0, saindo atrás na corrida em busca do acesso ao Paulistão depois de 16 anos.

A derrota foi ainda mais dolorida pela forma como perdeu o jogo, já que sofreu o único gol da partida aos 46 minutos do segundo tempo, a dois do fim do confronto. Após o jogo, o técnico Jorginho comentou a derrota sofrida no primeiro jogo oficial da temporada de 2024:

Não foi do jeito que gostaríamos. A partida sim, conseguimos fazer até uma partida razoável dentro de uma estreia, nem nós nem eles foram soberanos no jogo, mas o erro que tivemos no segundo tempo foi fatal. Isso não pode acontecer, já foi cobrado dentro do vestiário, estamos trabalhando para que isso não aconteça mais e para conseguirmos fazer jogos melhores, principalmente no rendimento ofensivo, que deixou um pouco a desejar. Espero que no próximo jogo já não aconteça, que tenhamos uma condição melhor e um resultado ainda melhor, porque estamos tristes e não merecíamos esse resultado

JUVENTUS PERDEU!

O Juventus inicialmente se juntou a Oeste e Portuguesa Santista, que também foram derrotados nos primeiros jogos do campeonato, para Rio Claro e Primavera, respectivamente.

Em busca de uma volta por cima, o Moleque Travesso pode se recuperar rapidamente caso leve os três pontos na segunda rodada. No entanto, o desafio é gigante, já que enfrenta a Ferroviária na Fonte Luminosa no próximo domingo (21), às 17h, em Araraquara.
