São Luís, MA, 23 (AFI) – E deu empate em gols no clássico entre Moto Club e Sampaio Corrêa, pela 13ª rodada da primeira fase do Campeonato Maranhense de 2024. Papão e Bolívia Querida fizeram um bom jogo no Castelão, em São Luis, mas faltaram os gols.
Com o resultado o Sampaio Corrêa segue em segundo lugar com 24 pontos após 12 jogos, cinco pontos atrás do líder Maranhão (29), e à frente do Imperatriz, terceiro lugar com 23 pontos. O Moto Club soma 16 pontos em 13 jogos, e briga pela quarta vaga para a semifinais do estadual nas últimas rodadas com Tuntum que tem 13 e Pinheiro, com 12 pontos. Lembrando que segundo o regulamento do estadual, os quatro primeiros dos oito times do Maranhense vão para as semifinais e os dois últimos serao rebaixados. O Cordino é lanterna com seis e o Chapadinha vem em sétimo lugar com oito pontos.

A rodada deste fim de semana do Maranhense se completa neste domingo, com dois jogos às 16h, Cordino x Pinheiro, no estádio Leandrão, em Barra do Corda, e Tuntum x Chapadinha no estádio Raphael Seabra, em Tuntum.O Sampaio Corrêa volta a campo quarta-feira, dia 27 de março jogando às 19h30 contra o Chapadinha no estádio Lucídio Frazão, em Chapadinha; e o Moto joga dia 2 de abril contra o líder Maranhão no estádio Castelão.

Aos 32 a defesa da Bolívia Querida evitou gol certo em escanteio, tirando a bola de cima da risca. Edrean quase marcou para o Sampaio ao 39 minutos, fechando assim o primeiro tempo.
O Sampaio Corrêa começou melhor no segundo tempo e com dez minutos criou boas chances. O Moto respondeu aos 14 miutos com Paulo Rangel que quase marcou; nova chegada do Sampaio aos 18 com Pimentinha que tentou encobrir o goleiro. Nos 20 minutos finais os dois times ainda buscaram o gol, mas sempre errando no lance derradeiro. Fim de jogo no Castelão, 0 a 0 entre Moto Club, do técnico Tuca Guimarães, e o Sampaio comandado por Thiago Gomes.
