Atlético-GO x Flamengo – Mengão seguirá intransponível?

Goiânia, GO, 12 (AFI) – Um dos principais candidatos ao título brasileiro, o Flamengo inicia sua trajetória na elite do futebol nacional diante do Atlético-GO, recém-saído da Série B, neste domingo, às 16h, no estádio Serra Dourada, em Goiânia. Apontado por muitos como o melhor elenco, o time rubro-negro aparece como o time a ser batido, até pelo momento que vive, já que conquistou o Campeonato Carioca com extrema facilidade.

Durante o Estadual, o Flamengo sofreu um único gol, o que realçou o trabalho que vem sendo desenvolvido pelo técnico Tite. Na Libertadores, parece também que não terá dificuldade para chegar às oitavas de final. O time deste ano está ainda mais reforçado, com a chegada de Léo Ortiz, zagueiro vindo do Red Bull Bragantino.

Do outro lado, o Atlético-GO surpreendeu ao conquistar o Campeonato Goiano ao bater o Vila Nova na decisão. O time almeja a permanência na divisão após conseguir retornar à elite no ano passado ao ficar entre os quatro primeiros colocados da Série B.

Apesar de enfrentar um dos favoritos ao título, Jair Ventura deve continuar com o esquema de três atacantes, com o intuito de empurrar a defesa do Flamengo. O time está motivado com a conquista do Campeonato Goiano.
