Neste contexto, está o futebol do lateral esquerdo Caio Augusto, 21 anos, com passagens pelas categorias de base do Palmeiras, América-MG e EC São Bernardo. Na temporada passada, Caio disputou a Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, o Campeonato Paulista Sub 20, além da “Bezinha”, ambos pelo São Carlos FC. Trata-se de um ala com muita habilidade e agilidade e com um grande potencial. Será uma peça importante no representante de Araçatuba que vai em busca do acesso rumo a Série A4.

Sobre a expectativa na estreia, o bom de bola, Caio Augusto deu a sua palhinha.
“Estou muito ansioso pela estreia, chegamos numa semana importante onde o professor tá fazendo os últimos ajustes com a equipe. Trabalhamos muito forte nesse tempo que tivemos antes do início do campeonato. Fizemos bons amistosos onde conseguimos montar uma equipe forte e unida. Tenho certeza que eu e o grupo todo está preparado para o início do campeonato e com toda certeza, iremos dar alegria para a torcida e para a cidade”, disse.
A torcida canarinho pode esperar um time muito unido que vai se entregar ao máximo dentro de campo, não vai faltar vontade, garra e determinação em querer vencer.
