Florianópolis, SC, 24 (AFI) – Após sofrer uma lesão ligamentar no joelho esquerdo – sofreu uma ruptura no ligamento colateral medial e no menisco -, o atacante William Pottker corre contra o tempo para voltar a vestir a camisa do Avaí, que usou as redes sociais para mostrar a evolução do atleta neste início de temporada.
William Pottker já está na fase final do tratamento e deve iniciar ainda nesta semana os trabalhos de transição no campo. A expectativa é que possa reforçar o clube entre meados de fevereiro e começo de março.
“Aprendi a ser mais resiliente e perseverante. Estou com uma expectativa muito boa para este ano, no sentido de realizar grandes jogos, manter sequência e ajudar meus companheiros na temporada. Espero voltar o mais rápido possível”, disse o atacante.
Com passagens por clubes como Ponte Preta, Internacional, Cruzeiro e Coritiba, William Pottker fez no ano passado 12 jogos com a camisa do Avaí, marcou dois gols e deu uma assistência. Ele teve uma outra passagem em 2022, na qual fez 27 jogos e balançou as redes em três oportunidades.

No Campeonato Catarinense, o Avaí estreou vencendo o Nação por 3 a 2. O próximo desafio será contra o Hercílio Luz, nesta quinta, às 21h30, no Aníbal Costa.
